Sliding Fly Screens for Wide Windows
Got a window too wide for a single roller or hinged screen? Our horizontal sliding fly screens split the opening into panels that glide side to side, so you can open whichever part of the window you need and keep the flies out of the rest. We build systems up to 3 metres wide, in as many panels as the opening needs.
How it works
The frame sits neatly in the window reveal rather than proud of it, which keeps your sill clear and avoids the dust and debris that cheaper surface-mounted runners collect. Each panel glides on internal wheels with brass bearings, so there’s no metal-on-metal friction wearing the frame down over years of daily use, and every panel lifts straight out of the outer frame when it’s time to clean the mesh or the track. The full outer frame keeps a continuous seal around each sliding panel, so insects are kept out just as well as with a fixed screen.
Everything arrives pre-cut to your exact dimensions and ready to slot together: no cutting, no fuss. The scratch-resistant white polyester finish wipes clean, so it’s as much at home in a commercial kitchen as a domestic one.
