PIGEONPROOF SPIKE SYSTEM -
 
can be used on ledges, parapets, signs, beams, pipes etc to deter pigeons and seagulls.
 
Both the polycarbonate and stainless system are virtually invisible once installed.
 
The spikes come in 33cm strips and are sold by the metre.

		The all polycarbonate P4 spike will cover up to 200mm of ledge. Wider areas would need two rows of spikes. The spikes can be individually snipped off if they are too wide. Each strip can be snapped to any length required and are 33cm long.   The polycarbonate is manufactured from Durolon and is U V stabilised protecting it from sunlight, some cheaper versions of this product turn brittle and break over time.    FROM £3.85 + vat per metre
		The stainless steel version has steel spikes on a Durolon UV stabilised base. It is as effective as the poly spike and is slightly less visible when viewed from ground level.    Our new version has the following advantages over competitors products;    1. Thicker wire, 1.42mm wire for increased tensile strength.    2. Permanent lock wire clasp making it virtually impossible for the wires to come out.    3. Less adhesive is required. Ten 'keying' holes have been incorporated into the base so the adhesive oozes through the holes and locks the spike onto the surface.    PRICE £4.90 + vat per metre
		Stainless steel P2 version will provide protection on narrow ledges or can be used along with the P4 to cover wide ledges. Ledge protection from 25 -  100mm.    PRICE £4.10 + vat per metre
		Gull proof stainless steel wires for use against seagulls. The wires are longer than the pigeon spike but the base is the same. Ledge protection up to 275mm.    PRICE £6.20 + vat per metre
		Gutter clips are available for attaching the spikes to gutters without affecting water flow.    PRICE £0.30p + vat each
		Window clips are now available that are attached to the window frame so that when the window is opened the clip and spikes move with the window and won't get knocked off.    PRICE £0.55p + vat each
		All purpose adhesive which can be applied in wet conditions is used to hold the spikes in place. One tube will cover up to 10 mts of spike (if applied correctly)    The spikes can also be screwed into place if required.    PRICE £4.70 + vat per tube
NETTING SYSTEM -    polypropylene netting fixed onto tensioned wires, to ensure there are no gaps, provides an impenetrable barrier to birds.    The netting is rot proof, UV stabilised and chemically inert. BIRD GEL -    Polybutyl gel is applied to areas where the pigeons or starlings are landing and it forms an unstable surface which the birds do not like and so they move on.    The gel is applied with a caulking gun and then it has to be immediately sealed with the skinning fluid to prevent birds from getting entangled.  It is a legal requirement to skin the gel immediately after application.
