| All of our screens are manufactured from the highest grade aluminium, finished in an easy to clean white polyester coating. The hinged screens are locked in place by the use of a turn button, the hinges and turn buttons are secured by screws. For more pictures of these please click here. The magnets on the magnetic screens are also secured by screws. There are many options on the market that use sticky velcro and sticky strip magnets, these can be unsightly on your window frames, don't have a long life and the glue can discolour UPVC frames.. All of our screens are built to last many years and we give a 10 year guarantee. |
| Do we install the screens inside or outside? | Our screens can be installed inside or outside as all the frames are manufactured from anodised aluminium and won't rust. As a rule the screen will be installed opposite to the existing window/door opener, i.e. if your windows open outwards then the screen will go inside and vice versa. |
| What is reveal installation? | The window reveal is the inner wall leading from the window to your room. Most of our sliding systems are installed into the reveal so they won't interfere with the window handles etc. The hinged screens can be reveal installed or fixed straight onto the frame and when the window is closed the screen can rest against the handle. The roller screens can be reveal or frame fixed as the mesh will be retracted when not in use and the handle will be out of the way when the window and mesh is in place. |
